A Unique Sartorial Concept
Portfolio
The entire interior design project for Casa C Hôtel & Spa was born from the close and fruitful collaboration between the Berni Contract team and the property’s young owners, Romain and Emilie. This joint effort translated their vision into a unique sartorial concept, where functionality merges with a refined, enveloping aesthetic, driven by the desire to create a perfect, fluid continuity between the interiors and the surrounding natural landscape.
The indoor spaces naturally extend outward through a coherent and harmonious use of materials, finishes and colour palettes. Inside, exposed concrete walls engage in dialogue with the warmth of natural oak custom furnishings — such as open wardrobes and desks with fluted bases — while the extensive use of natural fibres and earthy tones evokes the colours of the coastline and Mediterranean scrubland. This visual narrative continues seamlessly through the large windows and panoramic terraces, where the outdoor furnishings engage directly with the sea horizon.
Light and material accents play a fundamental role in this fluid transition between inside and outside. The natural light that fills the rooms enhances the raffia details of the pendant lamps, the jute rugs, the ceramics and the crafted textiles, visually dissolving the boundaries between the room and the view. The result is an immersive living experience, where the interior space becomes a natural extension of the Corsican landscape.
