Villa Armena

In the fairytale setting of the Val d’Orcia, a Unesco World Heritage Site, you can breathe magic and savor beauty. Once upon a time there was a villa in Buonconvento, abandoned to itself, heavily marked by time and neglect. Today this villa has returned to its very noble late-Renaissance splendor and its irrepressible charm has exploded in a triumph of history.

Villa Armena, whose construction is attributed to Baldassarre Peruzzi, dates back to the first half of the 16th century and was the country residence of the Sienese Malavolti family. Today it is an exclusive country resort, with 10 rooms all different from each other and equipped with every imaginable comfort.

Red bricks, original oak beam ceilings and roofs, floors in sixteenth-century bricks are the structural elements that characterize the interiors and exteriors of the villa: a noble, traditional, charming Tuscan style.

Our intervention involved the study and construction of the furnishings of the rooms, each of which enjoys a breathtaking view of the park or the wonderful Crete Senesi. We have researched furniture, upholstery, prints, paintings and fabrics of absolute value in order to recreate a rich, luxurious, refined atmosphere.

The dialogue with the richness of the original furnishing elements has stimulated us to seek perfection in detail, helping to create a project that stands out in the vast panorama of luxury hotels.
